Starting with a layer of high-density polyurethane foam as the base for support, we add a layer of waved polyurethane foam for airflow and breathability. Memory foam sits atop that along with a 1" layer of super soft quilting. As with all our mattresses, these are wrapped in a beautiful organic cotton/poly fabric. This is considered to have a med-firm feel for adults weighing up to 250 lbs. The base of the mattress is made up of a flame retardant, non-skid material. It is encapsulated with fire retardant rayon fiber and the cover is seamed to the base with Kevlar thread®. Although we are confident you will LOVE your purchase, we understand how intimidating it can be to purchase a mattress online.
