Job Description:

As an Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative, you will be at the forefront of our customer interaction. You will play a crucial role in building and maintaining positive relationships with our customers, ensuring their needs are met and their shopping experience is exceptional. Your responsibilities will encompass both sales and customer service duties, providing a well-rounded experience within our e-commerce business. The ideal candidate for this position will be mature, dependable and experienced in customer service with a willingness to learn our company’s products, processes and policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, requests, and concerns via phone, email, or chat in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding product features, pricing, availability, order status, shipping, and returns.
  • Assist customers in placing orders, processing payments, and resolving any issues related to their purchases, including refunds or exchanges.
  • Handle customer complaints and escalations promptly and effectively, working closely with other departments, such as production, shipping, and quality control, to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions, including inquiries, complaints, and resolutions.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, company policies, and procedures to provide accurate information and assistance to customers.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product development teams to gather feedback from customers and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Uphold company values and brand image in all customer interactions, promoting a positive and memorable customer experience.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate potential issues to the logistics team for resolution.
  • Assist with shipment of orders as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in customer service or a related field, preferably in an office environment within manufacturing or retail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and empathetic demeanor.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite - primarily in Word and Excel.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Empathy and patience to understand and address customer concerns effectively.
